Found joy in the little things today. An hour long phone call with my bestie @logan.ef.pitts , my private students that I’ve been working with for 4 years gave their spring recital, and singing is just so excellently fun! May you find joy today and all days in the beautiful little things! For I am learning this year they have such value 🥰
I don’t sing opera so much anymore because it makes me confront my vocal technique in the most vulnerable of ways and that is just really hard haha and also really fun and also makes me feel the most connected to myself because opera is what made me fall in love with singing in the first place. I’m performing this piece at a lil concert in Westchester on Tuesday the 9th. I hope I remember the words! And don’t run out of breath at the end of that last phrase 😅😆 🎶🌸🎶

Because we are only accentuating the positive in 2024! And I did another fantastic show with fantastic friends and I am so looking forward to next year when I get to do it all again.

It’s been a while since I’ve soley focused on singing opera and it was nice to fall back in love with the art. We will also be singing this together at Carnegie Hall in March!! All of yesterday still has yet to fully be processed in my brain and body but all I can say is…we did it. And we did good.
